The Jagdpanzer IV was modified in 1944 to further extent its capability to destroy the newest allied tanks. It received a new more powerful 7.5cm L40 gun to be capable of punching threw 100mm at a range of 2 kilometres. And further side armour to protest against at rifles and shaped charges. Possible Upgrade variation at a cost of 3 turns in a Tank factory.

We even have the 7.5 cm PaK 42 L/70 in play
in use. so we would have to go the other way. then 7.5 cm PaK 39 L/48 would be used

and we wouldn't have an image for it
