One of the most important things I learned from playing most AO games is to learn when to retreat which is so valuable even more so in AOWW. Learning when to abandon a tc is essential for future defense all to more in cases where you cant really defend it.

But in doing so, you leave your tc open for tech stealing. So my suggestion is simple. Add a mechanic to be able to abandon your tc and not to own it anymore.

yes, and it is ready, i made it about a year ago.
on the top-left "..." button you can open a button line where u see the abandon TC button.

Wow. I didn't know that, thanks for pointing it out. Say, can you add another button there e.g. for donating your town/unit to your teammate?

I can't think on the top of my head why we would need this, but I feel like I had the desire to do so before.

This indirectly does that... Though slower but yeah. I get what you mean.
