So... in the pre-forum thread the guy mentions a 'plague doctor', so that's pretty much what I'm recommending here except with a different name...

It would pretty much be a healer that can poison enemies, and is immune to poison, as well as incapable of coverting enemy troops.

I like it.

Why not just use poison archers?

I agree. It is like an underpowered poison archer.
