It would be nice if we were able to create our own map. In this mode, we are able to place default units, put terrain, and other awesome stuff.

it is possible to create your map. look on Faq.
you have to used tiled to design them though.

I think he means the ability to make a custom map in-app (placing TC's and the like)...

oh,
that is not possible yet bexause that would need way too coding. and we want to keep the filesize low.
