New Unit - Roman Scorpio
Posted: Wed Aug 09, 2023 12:29 pm
The Scorpio could fulfill both the roles of a siege and crossbow unit for the Romans while filling the niche of a cheap and faster siege unit currently not present in the game. The idea would be in a cannoneer-like style to showcase the smaller size and use it as a light field artillery. When remaining with their historical usage, it should have bonuses vs. heavy infantry and cavalry as well as elephants and other siege equipment. The unit would start out rather weak but being able to be produced quite fast as well as receiving buffs by the roman system it grows in their use.
