Terrain
Be sure your terrain look as natural as possible
- decorate the terrain nicely (if u need so new decoration feel free to ask for them)
- do not use "symmetrical" maps as symmetry usually unnatural - (except if you model an artiuficial so human-build structure/terrain)
- use several terrain types (so only grass is usually not good), use grass/desert/water/river/sea/snow/hills/cliffs so anything that first the terrain.
Star requirements
so a good map star setup is like:
if you are pro-player mapdesigner than (via examples):
- solving the map is 12 turn to you as a pro on first attempt
- and solving the map is 10 turn for you as a pro on 3rd attempt
->> you should set about 14-15 turn to get 3 stars
if you are not-pro-player mapdesigner than if
- solving the map is 12 turn to you as a not-pro on first attempt
- and solving the map is 10 turn for you as a not-pro on 3rd attempt
->> you should set the map to 12 turns for 3 stars
(this way a newbie can easily make it to 1 or 2 stars and maybe after a few tries he makes the 3 stars)
