Spore sponge WAITING IMAGE

A sea myconid that uses spores to convert ships (idk if only ships?). It's body reassembles a sea spongs because of many holes it uses to release spores (thanks to @sombar+1 for the idea for appearance). I think it would be interesting if its melee range (has to "board" or surround the ship with it's body to release the spores) although that's a bit weaker. Maybe it can have stealth like a submarine then?
