semi-powerful and it's attacks give any unit an effect 'Tranform' that turns the unit into a zombie. Undead and non flesh and blood units immune.

But if the zombie will be a melee unit with maybe theSkill infect, then it is ok (i think the zombie shouldHave maybe a 20% chance that it convert and replaceThe enemy unit with a own new full health zombie unit)
I didwrote that on a nother topic.
But thats my idea of a zombie.

I think your idea would be better... considering zombies also like to eat brains...

How about the effect is called "Infected", lasts for four turns and on the fourth turn the unit is converted. However, the effect only shows up after the second turn.
This can be cured if the unit is healed or gets into a structure
Image: I like 2 and 4, but why has he got a sword?

20% chance of infecting on attack, including counters.

Cost:3
Hp:15
Power:5
Range:1
Armor:0
Pierce Armor:0
Speed:3
Sight:4
Action/turn:1
Spell resistance:0%
Bonuses:None
Units with Bonus against him: Cavalry:50%
Its 3 turns cause it has a 20% Chance to infect a not mounted
Flesh and blood unit.
If anybody want it it also could convert mounted units but i think it shoulnt
Infect means that ithe enemy unit will be converted to a full health zombie.

will come, but first i want to count how many upgrades-vs camapigns we have so campaigns will give enough gems for upgrades.

To add campaigns is not that problem...
Also it would be cool to make able to use the gems of
Aos (or do you already can??).
And pls implement or i send this guy down there

ok, i have found an animating zombie (that is already in the game for testing reasons on "animating" units).
that would be a great help If anyone have time to
- rework it a little
- and making the animation fluent (when the zombie is moving "back and forth" a little (or how english say..) )
and still waiting for feedback on animating unit idea!
(currently only the "standing animation" when the unit stands in his tile - later can be "movement animation" when moving to one tile to other, and also later "attack animations" maybe)
there can be versions on standing animations too:
1/a). animates the whole body a little
1/b). like the current zombie, the body does not move but some kind of other things around him animates: like the flies, or on eg. fire archer the moving flames in a torch and so on.
2. there can be timed animations eg: the unit moves his arms to pick his nose and so on - but very rarely (it can be either way a or b above)
(the latest only-the-flies-move version is up on server in 5 minutes)

I dont be against animations.
BUT in my opinion it shouldnt get implemented in AOS.
And we must look what animatiosn we include.
Only idle? Or also all walk directions??
Or maybe a attack animation too.
And then also defence animations. Hit animations...

BUT in my opinion it shouldnt get implemented in AOS.
i did not plan at first, but in future maybe there too. like in AOE, the idle unit thands for a while than moves something changing the hands holding the weapon and so on... so i am open for it in the future.
i will open a new section for "animation ideas" and where the "rules of how an animation will not be annoying".
Pixel Animator
i will check.
does it need to be pictures like you made for zombie
yes, but his picture called "spritesheet" can be easily made from gif (gif is only a series of images animated)

animator: i checked, it is simple but i think it can be used to make animations, but i would suggest using a PC application doing that.
images: i like your images!

Are there any freeware you suggest? Or like what are the requirements? (and are they in png or gif?)

basically: png, spritesheet so all animation stages in a "row" beside each other
like this image:
64_unit_undead_zombie_anim.png
(but a gif can be easily converted to such)
i have downloaded two gimp plugins to easily split/merge the spritesheets :
fuse-layers-0.1.scm
animation-from-spritesheet.scm
