So I am having alot of difficulties with this campaign. Much more than any other and suggestions? Can't seem to fin a good way counteract the catapults.

There are huge amounts of tc's - an insane amount. Try skirting around the south and of course across the water and seize as many as you can before the AI. After that, it's elementary.
