Hello everyone

So recently a buddy and mine having been playing co-op against several hard computers opponents and we have noticed that they have began to spam us with battering rams.

Now I know battering rams are supposed to be strong against arrows and such but even my calvary guys can't hurt them enough, and the battering rams seem to do great damage against my units, which I find very odd.

So I am asking the players out there, how do you deal with battering rams?

I usually just make catapults and ornos against them. They take off a good amount of hp. This usually works against AI but i dont think iyd be useful against a human though.

Two normal swordsmen can easily defeat a battering ram.

AI is making too many of the rams? if u dont have many building than that sound like an issue.

I have never really had an issue with battering rams. Depending on what units are giving them support I would say either spartans, templars, or simple swordsmen. Or a combination of all three is always fun

anyone try a fire archer against them?


Never mind. I just tested it on a random game and it took 7 turns for 1 fire archer to kill the ram.

I have with no effect the icon will appear by it but I didn't see the damage increase, as a matter of fact the second shot 2or3 turns later looked like it helped it?
