North vs South Board.

Board has slight favor to emj29 with 7 towns on the north island vs 5 in south. But 2 of my towns are on the coast which will help me control the sea early on. time will tell.

Make sure that your navy has a warship escort. Made that mistake before: Birdies came and got my catapult ships and triremes.

I've never played ejm, at least I think I haven't. But Alex is a strategist, and very slippery.! I would like to follow the game if possible )

emj is about to make his 6th turn and is leading 585 to 475. I suspect he will lead for about 6 more turns at which I will gain equal footing. No action yet.

Losing turns us into winners though, maybe the hard way but that way is the learning way.! )

I have initiated contact. emj29 is trying to build a small transport and I have a war ship firing on him.

On a side note, we may habe a game play problem. Daniel wanted me to install the developer version. I followed instructions, but now I can't load the old game data. I have emailed him for help.

Alex has not taken his turn in a while, I assume the login problem must be ongoing, unless he is busy, but he rarely misses his turn.

I am still missing some key upgrades, notable my crossbow men, heavy knight, poison archer, and the ability to build missions. maybe by the weekend I will have completed enough maps to get them all back.
