message signature length and typr of message

Two things with messages. 1) I am playing a game with Alexander82. In the messages from him, his name shows up as Alexander8. I am guessing the name field needs to be expanded.
2) Some times I forget to check the type of message I am sending. In the messsge signature, can it say what type of messmessage it is. Like "to Allies" or "to Everyone".
