Makes area damage In picture is 3x3 tiles. Red is tile where sifonoforos shoots and there will become two burning effects by one shot. Yellow areas are tiles where area damage damages one burning effect and less damage than red area.

Sifonoforos was galley with flamethrower that shooted greek fire. Byzantium used them.

What about a boat with greek fire on board?.(kind of cannon with short range which could shoot with fire liquid, with area effect - fire isn't easy to control )

the fire will easy to control by using a hard clay pot or hard clay vase, a very rounded hard pot or hard clay vase with coal,gas & fire inside. so you can easy to control the fire by the weight of a hard clay pot or hard clay vase.


Steps:
after the pot landed, the pot will explode
