New Unit: Attack Dog

I would think that an attack dog would be great to add because it would stick with the timeline and scare some people.It should be as fast as a knight and as strong as a swordsman.

It could be a upgrade of a scout but i dont think much people will use it.

I guess that would be true, but at least the scout would actually fight after being upgraded right?

In the PC game Stronghold Crusader attack dogs are auto released from cage when enemy unit is at a certain distance I like your idea of scout dog upgrade?

I would love a tech upgrading the scout dog. I think I am a rare one that uses him regularly.

1 spartan beats 1000 dogs
I like the idea thoug, scouts deffinately need a buff of some sort. I have never used them once in a serious game.

Then we should move this topic as Unit Upgrade and not as a new unit to be implemented. I would use that upgrade right away and perhaps increase the priority of scout to be used (instead of 3 turn light cavalries). The upgrade cost should be less like 3-4 turns since its just simple training (Scout/Dog Combat training). That won't be Op coz Persuasion,Stealing,Town Patrol are also similar in costs (3-4 turns). The attack is fair enough (4 atk) and this time they should have bonuses on basic infantry, (archer,swordsman,pikeman) but that doesn't mean they can 1-hit them like knights.
2-3 hits is justified, just like wolves. Still, they can't capture an entire TC so don't worry just stay indoors
