i think this ship is too weak now, i think it could be at least 7 range as a catapult or something (i think it is not worth to build now)

I would rather increase its speed.

What about 4? I would also realize an upgrade as the one for the catapult

The upgrade should increase its range, like the heavy catapult upgrade does for the catapult.

I think that this is a good idea. Catapult ships are too slow and the battle ends by the time it reaches the area you want it to be.

Yes.

However, I think it should be easier to defend the coast than to attack it. I.e. that it is possible to assault a coast, but it should take more resources (in turns) to attack the coast than to defend it. It is so now, but let's not make the catapult ship op, or the balance will be broken.

Yes.

But dont you feel its time for this ship to have a upgrade too?

Catapult ships are perfect as they are (besides being built super quick by workers). They are decently fast, very powerful, and deal area damage.

They still need an upgrade against other upgrades
