Seeing that orcs are meant to have their strenght on melee i think that an improvement for its main infantry is a real must to make them a playable race in some way.

The improvement should have more hp, some armor (at least pierce to give them the chance to reach enemy ranged units) and a higher attack.

Once we decide the name i'll make a image

What about a two handed swordman?

It should deal far more damage and have some extra armor

I suggest a 8 cost for the improvement

i like it very much, we will need many new unittypes after publish 1-2 per week, and this will be definitely in.

one thing that this looks much different than the current warrior so we have these options
- making the current warrior like this (with smaller sword/armors)
- making this image a little more like that
- OR making a total different unit out of it., eg. Orc marksman or something.

What if i make a orc that is halfway and make this the 2nd upgrade? like man at arms for aos swordman?
Otherwise we can make this on a elite orc warrior unit of another kind, maybe a orc weapon master or something like that

please check ingame, i used the earlier stats for the two handed sworded orc, and i used a "halfway" stats for the elite (betw orcwarrior and masterwarrior)

orc warrior->elite orc warrior->master orc warrior (as i called two handed)

i see. Those stats were meant for a first upgrade. I wasn't thinking of a 2nd upgrade at first, but being right now a 12 turns upgrade i think that the final stats should be higher

Daniel can you put in game the new stats (you might also increase the turn cost)

ok, the wolf rider has a 8 turn cost, so i thought it was ok

I have downloaded the new version but it remained the same.

Btw my proposal is

Base->Elite->Master

Hp: 24->28->32
Attack: 11->15->18
Armor: 0->1->2
Pierce: 0->1->2

I think that shouldn't be op, considering that orcs should be the best melee race.

stats: lets start with the current and if seems too low stat we will change.

Right now the difference is too low. It is really too much for waiting 12 turn. Also consider that orcs havent smithing improvements, so thi isn't really op at all.

About images they seems nice

for the sword i thougt some angle would be good - i tried but failed to make a nice one...
