If you played age of empires II, you should know this unit.
For people who dont, i will describe it shortly. So it should be a ship that will explode if you want. Then, what is obvious the tiles around explosion will be affected by damage from explosion.

So like the fire ship in AoE III? Then thats a good idea, we could use the blast animation from the british firework ship shots as the animation

I like it. I remember using this ship myself in aos. Im surprised no-one though of this already.

Kamikaze ship= very undesirable name = fire ship superiority= let the dead rest

Yes Fireship is a much better name.

If you can link the other topic (I was not aware of it) then Daniel can merge them.

You can turn any ship into a burning ship with:
-No attack
-4 more turns to live
-All bordering units are on fire (Also your own)

Yep like mine.

A ship loaded with gunpowder, requires the gunpowder tech.
No attack, because no cannons.
Medium speed.
Ability: Explode, kills himself, but bordering ships have damage and are on fire (allied too)

Yes there was a really ship like this that stopped Alexander the great. Although it had Greek fire.

How about this ship become a "fire ship?"

These ships were used by the Brittish to fight of the Spanish Armada, although these boats didnt explode immediately, but were set ablaze, and exploded after a while.

i would like to improve the water fleet in AOS, anyone try to make image+json for this?
