Maybe because the poem sets up a question with multiple hypotheses, but never reveals the answer? I don't think that is necessarily "missing" anything, as I am assuming it is the purpose for love to be left undefined in the poem, but I could see why that might create some kind of expectation for more.FiredClay wrote:Thank you.
