At present, if you put a money lender in a tc which iS Making something with only one turn left to make, then the money lender is wasted as it is used only after u end the turn. This is downright stupidity. I suggest to change the mechanism so that it reduces the turn cost by 1 as soon as it is put in the tc.

I think it would rather not consume any money man when on 1 turm left state.

Naah i would rather that it would use it that very turn so that the player can use the effect/unit from that very turn

I think I like Pheonix's idea more, but Daniel's would be easier to implement.
