Generals for multiplayer

The idea of banner bearer, which was very interesting got me thinking about if there should be a Leader figure in your army.
A unit that you would treasure in a sense since they would be a reflection of you in the game. Not a literal reflection but what you stand for in whatever you are doing.
If you are rebel or enjoy giving fear to your enemy, A general or the leader figure would be a Black knight.
If you are loyal and just to seek to extend your influence. The perfect figure would be A King which you can name.
If you are more of strategic fellow, then a Roman emperor would be a great fit.
Lastly, A Explorer (idk what would be better but it's something).
***note each of these generals has a specific boost in something
For example: roman emperor would have a worker boost and technology boost of some sort they were ahead of their time.
They will spawn with you as you start a game, only one is ever with you in the entire game. If they die, they will be gone for the game.
I view this as a cool piece to the game. If you ever in a lose end of the game but you managed to kill the enemy general first, it would be its own victory in itself.
This is an open discussion so your opinion matters. Bless your faces
