Teleport

Not sure which race this would belong to (probably elves), but a teleport spell would be nice.
Say the mage/wizard chooses a unit within a certain range, that unit can now teleport (move) up to 10 spaces or something like that.

I'd definitely say humans. Also elves are already very mobile

No humans cant have this ability. Imagine assasins being able to bypass defenses and killing important units far away.
Elfs should have this ability. Although its true that elfs have highly mobile archers later in the game (especially on big maps) this becomes irrelevant. Since they dont have wagons they cant transport their slower units from far away. They need this ability to be able to help them move their ents.

Elves have wagons...
Also from a background point of view it is more typical for human wizards.
There might be a turnaround like not being able to teleport assassins or make a teleported assassin visible forsome turns.
Also the spell should have limits, for example it might not be used to teleport in a certsin range of a enemy tc

Ok cool
assasins already have a 11 space reach (assasin inside a battering ram inside a wagon). Imagine it with a 17-22 reach that bypases defenses. It not towns that should be worried but castles and wagons carying expensive units

Then the whole teleport spell should be avoided

i saw that teleport is for elves in warcraft.
so in elves seems ok (and also ther was an other teleporting tech that would need teleport mechanism)

The other tech is a jump not a teleport. Anyway every wizard in fantasy worlds can use teleporting spells (again, is class related, not race related).
About teleports i would avoid a real one (one that can go everywhere in the map) but just something that can move a unit by few tiles to avoid an obstacle (like jump is)

it is ok to restrict the range, but i will still need an imageined mechanism (i mean flow of eventS) - because i have no any in mind

I have no clue but can't you just "duplicate" how the movement of a flying unit works?

i dont understand, i thought we need a caster that can target some(?) units that immediately goes to an other location, regardless of terrain and enemy units.
that current "flying" is simply a "flag" meaning it can not be attacked by ground units and can go tru "fly over me" obrtacles, nothing more.

What i mean is: can you make an active skill that simply makes the unit moves using certain condition?
For the jump ability the concept is:
1) use button
2) the movement range (2) appear on the screen
3) movement conditions are that you can't be blocked by obstacles and or enemy units and must click a free tile
4) click a tile
5) the unit move to that tile
For teleport:
1) use the button
2)choose a unit
3) that unit moves in a certain range
4) movement conditions are that you can't be blocked by obstacles and or enemy units and must click a free tile
5) click a tile
6) the unit move to that tile
