I've noticed several times, that when I switch to another app and return to AOS after some time last save is missing. What's more when I click "continue" game loads old save (probably first saved state). It happens in different campaigns. When I minimize app there is even a Java toast: "Your game is saved".
It is frustrating when I need to start for the 5th time the same map with about 50 turn to get 3 stars.
Anybode else noticed it?

Again. I've closed game properly. And even then saves get lost somewhere.
I don't have much "continuous" free time. So it's impossible for me to win any more than 35 turn without saving minimum once. But unfortunately saves don't work.

Not to me,when i switch apps every AOS variant i play stays on game im playing

It stays for me. Even though i have a bad phone, a nightmare of myself sometime.
