New damage types - magic - elemental
With the introduction of hybrid units i think we might introduce new damage types like magic damage. For example some units (even melee) might be anti magic and being resistant to spell damage or elemental effects or the siege damage from units like a catapult. That would make AoF even more different from AoS

It would give more strategies options. I undenstand you want make other armor types too? Cool idea,I think.

Yes. Indeed. A unit like templars or inquisitors might have a high magic armor rating. Also magic users (like a magic barrier). Melee races like orcs and undead might have their own magic protection units (like totems or necromancers).

I think This is a good idea. Also, perhaps spell resistance could resist more spells than just conversion? Fear, for instance?
I think elves could be particularly strong to magick. orcs weak, and humans/undead somewhere in between.
