Olog Hai are to trolls what Uruk Hai are for orcs



Olog Hai have been created by Sauron that improved trolls.They are described to be very intelligent, bigger, exceptionally fast for their size and more skilled in combat. They weared armors on their body and used big maces or greatswords.

Good Idea, but how powerful will they be in game. Also if we upgrade EVERYTHING, Then the ettins will be Obsolute.

my idea was to make +5 attack, +10 hp, +1 speed, +1/+1 armor and raise spell resistance

Ettin would still be better to destroy groups with its range 2 and the 2 attacks, also it has more speed (and being an even number 2 speed in water). Thos things would make it worth the 2 turns more

so this one is better than orc leader?

Noy necessarily. It is slightly better in combat but has no strength aura and attack range 1. Also consider that they are made by different buildings, so you would basically use both of them.

Given how powerful orcish giant swarms are already, let's give some more attention to goblin stuff first.

I think this will be a must have but i agree that some goblin stuff will give some alternative option to orcs

Olog-hai

I think Olog Hai doesnt fit if it wields 2 Sword, I suggest a Spike Mice or Spike Wood, and Cool traditional outfit

I've already started the unit. I just need some more inspiration to go on xD

Here are the images.

When i've made the uruk tech pack I had in mind to make the Olog Hai affected by it. Since now it became a unit upgrade I think it is better to have the olog hai as a standalone unit at the uruk tent and affected by the same uruk techs.

those are the images that are in line with uruks

Looks great, we now need some good stats.

I think we need a higher cost and slightly better base stats compared to the current troll and a progression similar to the uruk swordsman/axeman
