flail soldier - IMPLEMENTED

The flail was a spiked metal ball attached to a chain and rod. Its chain allowed it to gain momentum before striking and hit with enormous force. While very effective in offensive it was very difficult to use as a defensive weapon against melee enemies(it was a one handed weapon so it could still carry a shield to block arrows)

A strong attack, weak defense, 2 range slow movement 2 maybe three and like four or five to make weakness are knights because a flail cannot defend against a fast mounted unit with a sword

a mace is a club with a spike ball shape or solid raised ridges on the end.

By the way, the image is 10/10 awesome!
Is there a way to give the flail soldier a decreased armor if he attacked in the same turn*? (because he is recharging)

*This is kinda hard to explain... Say there are three teams, a, b, and c. If c attacks a's flail soldier, called Bob, if bob attacked on a's last turn, he is weaker. If b attacks c's flail, called Fred, then if Fred attacked on his teams last turn, he's weaker. Do you get it?

Team Y attacks on X's flail.

So the game would go back to team x's flail's last turn, check if he attacked. If true, armor is weakened.

This unit was in the almost ready section of the vote list (needed final stats) so I will try suggest a balanced stats. My stats will be based of this old stat below
Dgkfadomo777 wrote:A strong attack, weak defense, 2 range slow movement 2 maybe three and like four or five to make weakness are knights because a flail cannot defend against a fast mounted unit with a sword
Name: Flail Soldier
Cost: 3
Hp: 16 (3 shot kill by normal archer)
Attack: 20 (3 more than maceman)
Range: 1 (I know it says range 2 up there but I dont think range 2 will work well with any melee unit)
Armor: 0
Pierce armor: 0
Speed: 2
Sight: 4
Action: 1
Spell resistance: 0%
size: 1X1
*The flail soldier will not be able to counter attack because a flail is very hard to use and very heavy*
Bonus against:75% Infantry (so it will be a infantry strong against infantry)
Maybe buildings (same as swordmen)

Weak against: Archer (all types), Calvary (near 1 shot kill)

This unit will be used to take down expensive infantry (spartan, Roman infantry) with low cost when the enemies are near (because it has no armor so it could be easily shot down).

Why different from a maceman?
It has higher attack making it the most powerful infantry. The maceman would be used for normal battles because they have more health and could move faster but flail will be used when under attack so that you can take out strong units while giving your tcs time to make the correct units to counter attack.

Why wont it be op?
Although its attack would be very high it would be easily shot down by and units with projectiles. It also can't counter attack so it would be easily killed by normal infantry if he is exposed.

Awesome, good job reviving a dead unit!

This looks like a very votable unit now! Also, I like how you explained his strengths/weaknesses versus macemen.
