Allow golem to hit the ground hard to produce shockwave that fear and damage all nearby enemies. Cooldown=2turns. Cost=6 turns.

Is it a special ability or do you jut want to add trample to the golems?

Being a physical effect why don't we base resistance to power instead of resistance? It would be weird that a elf might resist this effect thanks to spell resistance

Ok. Trample effect is good also.

I ike the active skill idea.
I was thinking it should be based on target size (like maxhp or power) instead of resistance to spells (since it is not a spell)

Idea for it to works:The stomping spell is only applicable to self. The spell gives the golem aura fear effect. All enemy units nearby will get fear effect.
Researched in tcs.

Mmmmm What about something simpler? Attack of golems have a certain % to cause fear to the target?

I got a different idea. All golems get stomp ability. Works like the fireball spell but zero range (only on self). All enemy unit in range of this effect will lose 5 Hp and gain fear effect. Cooldown=2 turns.

Daniel told me is not possible to make a 30% fear on attack.
We might give it a special ability that hits and cause fear or an aura of fear in a small range.

I feel golems need more usefulness maybe wrath can be added to undead?

I would like to make a different kind of fear effect. In my opinion fear should just make you loose temporary control of your unit for its duration. In a perfect implementation it should also force the unuts to move farther from enemy units (ideally the one that caused fear, but I think it isn't possible).
@Stratego (dev) do you think it could be possible to make such an effect?
To begin with it should just make the unit not controllable by the player (so that it can't decide where it should move or how it should act).

if you say this: " is not possible to make a 30% fear on attack."
good news: it is not true if we put it this way, as we in AOW already have the Stuka plane that causes the target a fear effect after attack (similarly as poison archer does with the trnweaponeffect definition)
i think there was something else that makes it not possible.
about: control thing. we have/had orc greem dragon a setting so plaer not but AI controlled it, i think that was a specunitaction - ergo: it can be done already (i mean that not player will control it - but will behave like an AI unit not like you described running an panicking thingie)

Yes but that was exploitable woth waypoints and you could choose the target if it was in the range of the unit.
