don't now if it's normal but cavalries are getting a 50% bonus against samurai, but when they are upgraded to Hatamoto, no bonus anymore. It's weird

If you mean it is not just documentation problem and cavalry really loses bonus to samurai line after he gets upgraded to tier II - Hatamoto, it is probably just an oversee.

This is one reason why I proposed Unit classes so there would be lesser chance for mistakenly forgot bonus connections between some units. One could then assign Hatamoto to samurai class against which all other units would have already bonuses set.

Yes, these bonus problems seem to happen pretty regularly when a new unit is added, just because the sheer number and complexity of bonus directions now.

However, the upgraded samurai is quite op right now because of that.
