Discord server?

We should make a discord server so we can speak to each other!

Bad idea.
Discord is nice, but this will kill this forum because almost everybody will use discord. Rest - because of no account/no fast net/old Android on phone - will be counted off.

I never used discord but the board is the only viable choice for keeping track of all proposals.

Discord could never replace the forum just like Facebook never could. It could be cool - should I start up a server?
If we can get a dozen forumers interested I'll see about it...

A chatroom yes, I was thinking it should fulfill a more multiplayer purpose and simply where we can talk.

Yes, like a less cluttered multiplayer chat - we can have more than one room on our server. We would moderate it as well.

We might use some for multiplayer games of the various AoS games (we might also make time zone rooms) and a free one to just chat

Agree. And it will never take away the forums purpose, just maybe remove the Multiplayer section. And maybe voice channels too.

Agreed with this, it could works like a lobby for players who want to pick a fast match, or to make contests and stuff... Daniel should do this...
