A Spanish Galleon. Very Tanky, uses cannons, but is slow.

Maybe useful, maybe not. How would it be truly different than a cannon ship?

Galleons aren't slow.

Galleon will be more tanky and slow, they have been known for this due to their size, and it can have 2 attacks

That could be possibly overpowered, unless it is only built in docks (As in no worker spamming double shot cannon ships).

Or we could just rename "cannon ship" to "galleon".

The Cannon boat only has one cannon and is not tanky

Anyway, I will be abandoning this thread now, because it does not have a completed or close to completed unit idea

I want this to be revived, I am thinking of suggesting more ships like Schooner, a Brig, etc...

Schooner and brigs were not in ancient times (ancient times closed when Rome fell) but I like the idea of the Galleon they were used when Persia was trying to invade Athens(Greeks)!

I am going to close this topic. It seems like it has got no traction (either a AoS unit or a rename)

This unit cannot be added in aos because it's too powerful and new. Most units in aos are below the 1500s. Gallons are very interesting ships to say the least and were soon upgraded to man-of-wars. I personally think we should add the "round ship" instead.

P.s I am also making Age of sails for ships of all ages.
