Well, the end is nigh for the Phoenix Tournament. Daniel and I are well into our game, and all others have been eliminated.

Of course, it is almost hard to imagine AoS now without some sort of organized series of competitions. Ever since early last year, veteran and nooby players alike have fought for victory, glory, and gems. Given that the current tournament is nearing an end, and there seem to be no attempts or ambitions by anyone else to start another tournament, I have decided to announce enrollment for the 2nd (possible) Carrot Cup 2017. Aka what was earlier known as the unofficial tournament.

Given that recruitment can possibly take weeks or even months before enough slots are filled, I decided to announce this early to guage interest and determine what I should do to gather enough players.

The idea is to have 8 players, like the last one. However, I intend for this to be DOUBLE ELIMINATION. That means that you will not be eliminated from this tourney for just having a single unlucky spawn or something like that. You will also get to face two different opponents for sure before you are eliminated. Any other ideas are welcome, and if anyone has ideas for this tournament, feel free to post them here.

So, I guess if you are willing to play in this tournament and stay active for possibly MANY MONTHS (because that is how long these seem to take), then please say so and I will save your place in the enrollment!

P3 vs P5
P4 vs P6
P6 vs P7
P7 vs P8
P8 vs P5
So everyone plays two games with different players.

I am not sure what you mean, but I have already made brackets for the game, I can post them as an example.

And yes! There is still room. There is only one spot to be FOR SURE in the tourney. However, if we can get another 8 players, then I could open a second league as well in the brackets. However, it is probably unlikely to get 16 players.

What do you mean?

We need at least one more player to enroll before I can begin the tournament, and the brackets/rules and everything will be in that topic. I canmt assign games yet until 8 players have joined, so unfortunately we might have to wait a few days until someone else signs up

That would probably be a good idea. We might also want to move the old tourney and the phoenix tourney there too, but it doesn't really matter now.

Also, for people wanting to see the brackets, this is basically what it will look like:



loser's bracket:



The undefeated player (winner of game 7) will play the winner of the loser's bracket (winner of game 13), and if the undefeated player is beaten, there will be a rematch for sudden death.

I will probably clean this up into one large thing for the actual tournament topic though.

Just join. Your strategy is good.I haven't unlocked all upgrades too because I lost my save before.It is a great chance to learn some strategy from opponents .

Well, time for grinding. Completed the page 1 & 2 of upgrades, still a lot i haven't unlocked in page 4.
