Wolf den - IMPLEMENTED

I suggested this a long time ago as an idea for an elf tower, but never put a topic to it. I think it might be worth discussing, so here it is

Cost 5, built in forest or plains
30 life
0 armor
5 pierce armor
Garrisons 2
Can build wolves at 3 cost, no vanishing on wolves made here.

Essentially, it's an elf druid in building form. No attack, but the wolves are potent enough. While it builds units, it doesn't count towards the factory limit, since it only makes wolves.

Give it more actions, lets say 3 or 4,currently its better to train an elf druid and keep spamming wolves everywhere than filling your building limit with that cave. Are wolves be one of druids(with or without vanish?) or ones of neutral animals?

It's a tower, not a factory. And since workers make towers, it is efficient despite the cost and immobility.

So what do you plan? Balance changes? Images?

I'd say to make it in forest or normal terrain (easyer to draw). The idea seems nice even tough elves spam a lot of summons already.
I would make it different from a druid tough. I woul make them similar to an extra factory that produce a wolf in 3 or 4 turns but with no vanishing.

It is basically extra production for free.

Interesting. Extra production, but just wolves, which are very weak. The upside is it doesn't require a factory slot. Say 3 cost per wolf? It would be very expensive for the units gained, since anything can one shot them, but that's a good thing for this idea. Forest or normal terrain only sounds good. It gives plenty of cannon fodder, and isn't much different from swarms of druids already.

Edited stats. To accommodate the mechanic change from summon to build, I added an extra slot so 1 unit inside won't freeze production.

If it will be builded in forest and surronded by forest, wolfs wont be able to go out of it without druid. It will be funny if somebody do somethink like that.

I see. Then just normal terrain? Or we might give these wolves "forestwalkable"

Mayby make them abke to walk in forest, its not a big change. Btw why wolfes that lives in forest cant walk on it?

Yes, it is forestwalkable xD

I think he means to say wolves shouldn't need a spell to be able to move through forests. Also, I still say buildable in forest, to at least be put on the edge. Anyone will only make the mistake of putting it inside the middle of the woods only once, then no more.

I think that wolves mobility is already great (they shouldn't really be faster than a horse). I would make them forestwalkable but I would lower their speed a bit.

Yeah....6 speed is a bit high. Let's say 4 speed (wolves can do reasonably well compared to horses) and make it move through forests just fine.

So, aside from image, is it good to vote? And should we just make the changes to wolves now, separate from this?

I would make it the same, just without vanishing

Yeah. No vanishing to wolves made here. I was asking if the existing summoned wolves should just be adjusted to 4 speed, able to walk in forests.

I'd say simply cast summon wolf without vanishing every 3 turns

what is the final suggestion here?

A building (non factory) that spawn a summoned wolf (eith no vanishing) every few turns (3)

how can it spawn if it is not a factory?

Yes. Like a summoner with 0 speed and a slot
