Points for assassination of fortress IMPLEMENTED

Why did using an assassin to destroy a fortress lead to just counting the points for the loss of assassin?
I have seen only -12 (3 * build cost of 4 turns) for me and +12 for the other player. Where is either +3 or 3*6 = +18 for me for the destruction of enemy buildings? I thought you generally do get points for that too.
