Honestly, I think civil war/wild west/1800s was a better idea for a whole new game. No copyright issues, lots of unique ways to take the gameplay.

Warhammer is cool, but like everyone else has said, copyeights are a pain

Anywhere from a more naval based, pirate theme to American western expansion/civil war era could be encompassed easily without copyright problems or overlap from any other game.

Doomcarrot, I think you've hit the next (and probably last) frontier in this series.

We've got medieval, fantasy, semi-modern, future(2 if you consider that Daniel still wants approval to make SwS), and now early gunpowder ish era. Unless we want to make overly specific case games, it's hard to go further without overlap.

By specific, I mean on a more focused scale than other games. For example, a game focused on feudal Japan, with only appropriate units and art for the area and time, would be distinct from AoS, despite the fact that AoS already includes some units from that category.
