at least a see the ludger pistol in german army for example

I do say it is an interesting ideas, but "Normal" infantries range is already one, obviously Pistol Soldiers will be weaker in that regard. Soooo, what will be the pros of Pistol Soldiers?

i think it can be a support unit like archer units in age of strategy more weak than a machinegunner but it can attack diagonally but only one range

for example it can can have 6 power but with doble shoot and maybe same stats as infantry but it cant build or repair anything ( the only differrence in stats maybe 6 power or 5 thinking it have doble shoot and diagonal attack

Well, but to shoot diagonally you need 2 range...
While the normal one only shoots at 1 range.
It won't work with the normal one as the most basic...

Well, maybe an exception if that unit is a medic. No 2 times shoot, of course no attacks diagonally, longer turn to make by one, weaker stats but ability to heal. If it is that then i'm fine, since infantries do needs healer.

the field medic is a good idea not atacker unit. amd maybe a demolition unit too ? only anti builduing bad atacker too

Maybe a sapper. A unit that construct better.

A medic unit sounds good. It would work just like the priest in age of strategy.

lets try to stay on topic, but a pistol soldier is kinda a big selection I think we must rain it in.
