Observation Peak

Cost 5
Hp 45
Armor 3/5
Power 10
Actions 0
Sight 8
Can see stealth
A hard to reach peak covered in razor sharp stones. Perfect for goblins to safely observe the landscape and watch for sneaky attacks on their tribe.
Mostly, this settles the problem of orcs being completely defenseless against assassins. It at least makes a way to protect volcanoes, though it isn't mobile or cheap enough to deploy where it can protect the front lines easily. Thus, they are still weak to assasins, just not to the point of risking a major loss with every volcano they build.

The only reason you want this, I assume you had problems with assassin. Also scouting.

I remember that this was fixed in AoS. I think it should be fixed in AoF too.

About halfway down the page, you see Doomcarrot take out Coolguy's castle with an assassin, just to provide a documented case.
Yes, I've had some issues with assassins playing as orcs. They are the only race without a scout unit to see them with. Admittedly, they shouldn't get a cheap, mobile scout like fairies or dogs, but a building like this would be simple enough if you suspect an assassin might show up.

Daniel shouldn't we set Assassins able to kill only flesh and blood units?

Umm...troll shamans can detect stealthed units

They can? That would be great to
have in the description.

I found that out when translating AoF, but no idea where

That really should be more available knowledge. I still think this is necessary though, since you don't want to leave shamans lying around your base for no reason.

I had no idea either

Assassins have always been able to kill castles. A while back someone posted a topic asking that they be restricted from sabatoging castles, and a debate was had, but ultimately it was mostly agreed that assassins should be kept how they are.
Without assassins, trebuchets/cannons would be the only counter to castles, besides men-at-arms, but that is impossible in some situtions and includes many many casualties in ALL situations. Assassins allows an alternative way to deal with castles without the player being forced to develop siege weapons just because somone built a castle.
Also, it is super easy to protect against assassins, so they must be used very strategically to catch opponents off guard, as I did to COOLguy, so they are far from overpowered.

Well... It is also a matter of realism. In AoF is pretty easy to destroy mega buildings so i think that assassin's purpose is mostly to kill big units (ettins, imperial knights, death knights, sentinels and such).

not exactly, it is on my list to revoke that ability.

This isn't a bad idea. We could give this the ability to see invisible and just give it capacity 2 since it seems big, then we make the goblin tower into a cheaper tower like gaurd tower.

Well, recently I had a similar idea for a forest tower. So let's combine.
Mainly.
Hp around 50
Can be built in forest.
Low Attak range (3)- mellee -orks inside trow rock, axes
Dmg 6-8
May iron spikes - ability to full counter or
Reflecting half dmg or such.
May research at TCs.
Removing see stealth, cos goblin tower has that.

Note, just a draft I need to edit.
Some wood based, with metal fortification as I imagine.

Looks great, wrong topic though stick this as the goblin outpost maybe, this topic is a mountain unless we are changing that.

It seems this topic needs to figure out what's its idea, also we already have another thing called the goblin Outpost.

I know, that's why I suggested this for that, this topic seems to work more like a tough scouting area that could be occupied. Like a bigger stone pile. Problem is, is it needs a new purpose, magic is not an option since no one would agree on orcs having a magic tower, summoning isn't an option either since orcs can swarm the enemy with a bunch of cheap goblin spikers, weaker tower is covered by goblin outpost which can see invisible.
Gates are also off the list since orcs can pass through their walls.
Options would be either a tougher wall, tower that acts like elf outpost only without vision aura and can be built on mountains.

Well
A forest/mountain outspot
has spiked walls
Low range - mellee Attak range 3 Attak 6
Carry 1/2
And can be occupied
Great both for camping and a diff orkiish gameplay.

Probably 1 cap, the Stone shelter has 2 so this one could have 1.
The goblin outpost can be used to scout for enemy sneak attacks while also acting somewhat like a cheap guard tower.
This one could be a multi terrain tower that Orcs could build to allow a archer unit of mage to watch an area.

We could combine it with Lynx's:
