Basic infantry stats for 3 cost, not 2, because it has a different damage type. This unit plays with stolen energy weapons from enemies, and can be raised if "corpse with a laser" drops from enemy.

"Slow effect on hit" means that if he attacks,target gets slowing? Why?

Eh. It's dealing in stolen weaponry, so I might dispense with that part. I'm trying to give most myconids an "on hit" effect, but I think you're right that this one doesn't really deserve it.

It's more like a parasite for me? Should've had an infect skill.
So i guess it can take control of the host if the host is dead or it's been too long not cured.

Now for the curing part... It's effect can be undo-ed by anything that heal, but the effect is hidden meaning that if you're not careful your unit might turn against you making a surprise attack. (it will take many turn before they turn tho)

Actually, it's more like they can grow on dead bodies, like mold. So you can rise corpses to unit like undeads in AoF. No infecting, at least not for basic ones. And I think we should change name from "assimilator", that associate with that he assimilate something, to "assimilated", becouse he is kind of assimilating.

Not sure if to make that one producable, maybe only risable, and I can easily see the physical weapon version too.
Well give the shroomies decent arm and a gun for image.

I think I wanted a energy and physical damage variants, but since the chemical damage was scratched I dont know if we need the physical one.

Was the rest planned to do chemical damage? I also noticed that the infantry of all other factions is dominated by energy weapons, with the exception of flamethrowers, machine guns and rocket launchers. I think that this could be done by physical, anti-infantry machine gunners in that case, if they need to be done.

Well ye most myconids were planned to do chemical. Now they will do physical instead.
