A defensive unit, meant to make the elves less OP against orcs.

there are already heavy units and proposed upgrades for existing armored units. also orcs have now shields in their images so this is a bit redundant.

But elves have a great advantage against orcs

I think they are mostly balanced at the moment

If you had played much time ago you couldn't have a chance to do anything. It is true that elves have an overall tactical advantage in terms of speed and range and they can also dodge attacks but orcish units are overall stronger in terms of stats so they even the gap. Anyway balance is dynamic so there are times where a race is stronger and other times when the balance go in favor of the other.

We still have to implement a few orcish units but they are mostly ok.

I suggest using a loto of orc kings and upgraded uruks against elves. Maximum upgraded Uruk swordsman basically take only 1 damage by arrows.

And troll headhunter. Don't forget troll headhunters.

Alexander once stomped all over me as orcs when I played elves.
