Global Production Menu

So a menu that you select in the game and it shows all your tcs and factories in a sidebar list to the left. upper right corner has a small map of the whole map with an indicator of the general location and any waypoint locations. bottom right has the units garrisoned. upper middle is the build progress and bottom middle is the build que. Upper left corner has small map of 2-3 tiles around the unit or can switch to any waypoint view.

What do you think?

yes I would like to see this it sound use full for a big army. It is some times hard to tell where everyone is going!

right now i have in one multiplayer game 190/200 pop and 29 buildings.
this would help a lot to manage units and such.

Nice but I think the circles should be colored in so a player could see the difference easier.

it reminds me to the current TC view.

should this replace the TC view ?
i mean we could change the currnt TC view to this.

if so, can anyone make a graphical image how this should look? (that i can copy and implement)

Not sure if it should replace TC view, maybe with some more tweaks to it and an increase in the window's size.

i think it should be separate *view
a) list ofd towns (And factories?) with some information in separate columns like
- tc name
- tc location maybe on a minimap like on the map-type-selection rows outside game
- current procductions (maybe next production too?)
- current units?
and in this list you can eg. mass update productions in many TC-s

b) the view when you see one TC infomations - even in the above alignments (units, production, tc location, tc neigboring tiles (btw what are these neighboring tiles for?)

I put those lines above the barrack because it's under construction, but there is probably a better way to show that

There is also probably something better than black squares to show the location in the minimap

I think what COOLguy had in mind with that was to show nearby buildings and units to have some understanding of the surroundings without having to actually go there on the map to check, but I might be wrong.

someting like that yes, but contained unti with simple images beside eash other not in 2x2 alignments (eg. we have 6 units in bugger castles)
also maybe with separate columns so you cn reorder them based on any column.
like an excel sheet, i got the idea from Masters of Orion, here:

yep, sort of
