Space opera I suppose. Not post-apo/cyberpunk definitely. I want it to be a universe where few races fight all across galaxy.

Because I seen a lot of sci-fi movies, old and new. From the sixties or forties to the present. Many have different styles, like some based on the 90s technology where black suited man take care of the problem, something a bit modern will be like Marines fighting bugs or whatever.

What you should do is
1) Change the colour of it to the colour of infantry humans uniforms
2) Add something to make it look more sci-fi

It's more cost efficient than blasting jet fuel for a hovercraft, but I get what you mean.

Realistic wise it can be easily explained. The problem is for it to be useful in game.
Let's make it big enough to carry tanks and then it will be necessary.
