Well you know the Bible story! And who needs a "Great transport" when you got Noah's ARK!! I am thinking it would be a transport that could hold any unit in the game and would be 3 or 2 tiles long and would have 8 unit storage slots. WHAT DO YOU THINK!

If this is possible...
I want a tower if Babylon, and players sends his units inside. They instantly become AI from the diversity of language. Otherwise it could turn all units around it into AI for each turn it is built after being half finished.

I don't know how Noah's ark would actually fit in with medieval warfare. Campaign only unit is my suggestion fir it.

LOL it is an interesting topic. It would be build by builders not by docs.

It wasn't a boat used for war, it was one that was used to save the people and animals from the great tsunami that swept the earth ( of course there wasn't enough space for everyone so some controversial choices had to b made)

My point is u don't use a rescue boat for war ( although if it was for a campaign then I wouldn't mind )

Lol no, it is too freaking huge, probably as big as Titanic, no one can build it in medieval times

Although according to Qur'an, people in Noah's times could live thousands of years (he himself was 980 something years old) so it was possible to finish building it within a thousand years time using medieval tools

OK pre flood tools, but it doesn't matter if medieval tools were better, if they could live a thousand years then they could easily build one with simple tools

The "unit of measure" is 32 by 64 this is not the same for aoww or any other faction. Right now I am having trouble loading pictures I am asking "pro gamer" to try for me!

Adding unit like this might not be good. It's a unit from a certain religion. Some people might get offended.

I beg to differ "samuech" I would agree with you if it were something like cross of Jesus that gives you power or something like that. This has no religion significance it was proven to be real by these scientist. They are not Christen.

Actually it has, anything that was written in two holy religious books obviously has a great significance in these two religions, Noah was a prophet of God according to the books, and built this boat following God's command,

It is not like a priest or healer who perches the good news and converts them to your side. This is just a big bout!

I don't see this as ever being a unit - however, if you get the stats/image/such it can very well be a 'hero' or map editor unit. (similar to the trojan horse or the pyramids and Colosseum).

I don't see that this could be offensive. Flood legends are found in nearly every ancient culture, and Noah's Ark in particular is attested to by the three largest religions in the world.

To cap off - I think this can only be implemented as a map editor unit, and I don't think that it should be offensive to any (We have pseudo mythical units like the ornithopter and the trojan horse and we have religious units like the Templar and the Saracens)

We should have a moses character that can turn water tiles into land tiles, and a prophet elijah character that can shoot fireballs and raise corpses to life

But in all seriousness, I don’t think this is a good idea

Please do not change the title midway through the thread - ESPECIALLY involving design lead or developer labels

Yes, trying to keep image sizes and space requirements down

That's the point, I don't see how that is really any more/less offensive. Having a unit based of a biblical concept/person that has biblically-based properties in-game.

But in all honesty, people get offended by things way to easily these days.... But I still don't see Daniel ever implementing something like that lol, except MAYBE for campaign.
