Crystal based life forms(s) that utilize crystal technologies. I.E light refraction and projectile weapons, such stuff. Maybe they have higher defence, at cost of other stats and cost?

I don't know much in si-fi,because this is my first post in Age of Galaxy section

Some projectile weapon like this:
Piercing lazer,this is how it works,
If enemies,2 or more are in a straight line,and one of them in next to it,it will give a lazer sending all of them out!

Lets finish first already existing races,now we should focus on ground units of Reptilians and humans.
