Nothing much, was gonna ask should a chemist be with dwarves or humans and then from that i was gonna think up some stats.
And as far as your options, i prefer the cheapest options to make it more produce able. And for that last choice you put i choose the second option.
Imma bring back some old topics back to life cause i didn't realize how man great ideas their are including the elementals and elementalist

Where else would you think it would be, not exactly a fighting unit.

Not sure, you think this unit should have some type of fantasy gun?

Sounds simple, and then take more for this unit.

I feel like this unit needs some type of range even if its a small radius

Wait what, then what time era is this game. I understand dwarves are better than humans as far as building but it doesn't make sense why dwarves are so far advance than everyone else.
Besides alchemists were very smart and advance in creating things

Not so far as you think. They better at constructions nd armors.
Humans are mix of all and also have great mages (and i have more unique ideas for their mages as well). I think one of the best mages if they were a bit... (almost spoiled an idea.) They also have (currently only) BEST siege weapons - catapult, catapult ship, trebushet.

Orcs are the most brutal race with LOTS of units with high attack. And 2 BEST healing spells as well they own and merlocks also are their - best current naval unit.

Elves right now lost many uniqueness due to uruk archers and many heavy armored units and alk that is left is their high speed. I am working on fixing it.

Scaledfolks have highest amount of flying units and dragon units. And some of them are ridicilously powerful.

Still it's a good idea of having a alchemist version for the following races.
Dwarf - dwarven alchemist (ready)
Undead - whitch
Humans - potion master/hum alchemist
This three are relatives -
Elves a new caster or a hight elf with some interesting "spells.-

Indeed orcs and scaledfolk don't need such.

We need more opinion (first for humans)
Democratic voting?

What do you think, should humans have an own alchemist?

I don't want to see for exactly humans alchemist-like unit. I want to see them more magicans: elemental summons (Elementalist), arcane magic (Arcane mage).

Another reason is because i want to see more uniqueness for each race and alchemists are already exist (also i am planning on few more alchemy-based units for dwarves in tavern)

Ok won't be an alchemist (the dwarven one has simple mage buffs too?)

Potion master.
Buff and debuff.
Eg.
Sleeping gas. /paralysis.
Smoke.
Posion immunity.
Heal.
Speed,boost - action or movement.

This way is unique
