I would like a bit more control on what you can set up in multiplayer games.
I would like an option to turn on and off effects (potions) - these offer quite a different aspect to the game which I would like the option of playing without so the game is a bit more themed on just combat and strategy without the "magic" effects.
I still not sure how the upgrades control works, I have tried it in various forms but there seems to be no difference each way!!!
It would be nice if the tech option actually went to a menu with tick boxes and you can tick which techs you want to start the game with.

There still needs to be a change, currently:
no
means you only get the very basic game
yes 0
this still allows tie fighters - which in a prolonged game players just end up building armies of them and it makes the game pointless.

Could we instead have a tick box system when setting up the game such as:
Upgrades:
Troop upgrades 'box'
building upgrades 'box'
technology upgrades 'box'
effects, 1 use per game 'box'
effects, unlimited 'box'
tie fighters 'box'

This would enable you to set up games where you have a good medieval themed strategy but if players want magic or tie fighters they can still add them, but it would not waste the time of players who just want to play a medieval game.

it is fixed already, - tie fighters can only be built on "yes 5" or "yes 10" maps
