A unit that can build a galley two times faster than builders. Because building ships by way of the builder is time consuming.

Main stats

HP: 20
Attack: 0
Speed: 3
armor: 0

My memory is a little hazy. How long does it take a lone worker to build a galley, and how long does it take a Dock or TC?
If it is to be implemented it has to be able to outperform the worker, while not necessarily outperforming the Dock or TC. Let's be honest, a lone Shipwright should not be able to outperform an entire Dock or TC, and the Shipwright cannot be used to spam naval ships like crazy. They should be a little more expensive than the worker. 4, maybe 5 turns?
It has to be able to be special enough to eclipse the worker on building ships, but cannot be putting out a ship a turn. For it being special, the fact that docks are limited, and seaside TCs not so easy to come by, I think it could be easy to find the balance between it being useful and special and it being TOO useful and special.
Overall, I like the idea. It seems a good addition to the game.
Also, that image seems a little flat and cartoonish. Perhaps increase the width and height of the guy, and detail the hell out of it! (Forgive my language, some people are awfully skittish about that word.)
Perhaps add some facial features, decrease the size of the feet, and, uhhh, make it so I can recognize what that thing in the lower right corner is. Because as of now, I am not entirely sure what it is.
Also, be incredibly careful about shading. Shading is the key to 3D art. Without shading, our entire world would look like an uncolored coloring book. In fact, the only way you can tell that a doorknob, something without hard rigid lines to define it, is 3Dimensional is by the shadows light casts on it, and the reflection of light off of it.
I know you probably know this, but I had to write that somewhere. SHADING!!!!!
But not everything can be shaded. Add some bright colors, not screaming colors, just colors like for example faded bright red or something. Just a little something to counteract the dark colors.
Also be careful with rigid, defining border lines. Don't let an image look like something out of a coloring book.
Also add in some player color notifiers, if that is what they are called.
Overall, you have my support with this. You need something, ask.
Except JSONs. I don't do JSONs. I read computer programs, it looks to me like Ancient Greek.

Galley: 4 turns in tc/dock, 13 turns by worker without ambidextria, 9 turns with ambidextria.

Thanks, Mak.
For the Shipwright, how about it can build a galley in 10 turns without ambidextria, 7 or 6 turns with ambidextria?

I agree, it is. But ports are limited in how many you can have. Shipwrights are not.
