Wendigo mythical man eating monster that is partialy made of ice and is afraid of fire since its only thing that can melt his hearth

He would be probably expensive heavy hitting infantry that can gain more health from corpse eating

General aspects

Hes were-deer thing so we can make him medium speed

From what I read it may be hard to kill so we may give him high armor or hp

Another thing is his known strenght and ease with which he can kill

He eats human flesh and is known for that so more health from corpse eating or lifelink

He's afraid of fire and like some sources say he's partially made of ice so weakness to fire

He's also able to turn some people into wendigo

Those are most important aspects with which we can make stats

There is also suggestion of making him unique unit (only one until is dead)
Making him only one at time can give us more freedom of making his statistics

I could fix that but either way, Any source of information of this creature.
It probably should have LifeLink and debuff.

Generaly after writing wendigo you can get plenty informations
I would see it as medium speed heavy hitting beast that gain health either as lifelink or corpse eating but getting more health from doing this
It cannot be burned but fire archers and sources have bonus against it is there possibility to do that?

Try giving it some strong (ish) stats with the ability to make another wendigo (with a cool) from corpses.

Hello there, just wanted to say that mythological creature named wendigo was actually human who from desperate hunger ate humans, it cursed them and they became wendigo an evil spirit that gained power from eating humans, they also couldn't eat anything else they cone from indian mythology. So they should have probably veteran power and corpse eating that gives same bonus as veteran power. They shouldn't have lifelink since they used claws to fight, and it would be really hard to tear a piece of someone out and just eat it (especially if it was something like battering ram) also he should probably be from crypt because he is more spiritual than normal undead. so that's that. Oh and that picture is really awesome.

I don't want to add more veteraning units and I'd like to remove it from current units that have it (I think only zurgo at the moment).

That is only applied to trainable units, not to campain only ones.

Campain only units could freely have veteraning (just in case).

First, dwarf monk has it too.

Second, what would be special about the zurgo helmsmasher if you removed vetraning from it?

The effects of vetraning can already be countered and if anything we could just have it a unique effect for orcs only. I've used the zurgo helmsmaher quiet often because of that ability when it came to weak enemies. Plus, it has low enough stats to compensate it at start.

Besides the only thing it ups at the moment is armour, pierce armour, and attack. You can just use an anti armour unit to kill them easily and every race pretty much has one of those.

Alex has in mind some things for zurgo.
Also if unit somehow gained 40+ armor than nobody would be able to kill him by regular attacks.

I am thinking already to a unique ability for zurgo that will make him worth using.

Actually they still can, phantom crushed for example ignores armour, I tried this on the dwarven monk and his armour did nothing to stop it. Instant 20 damage.

If this is true, then I take it the vetraning effect you plan to leave for heroes only? (Map editor)
