About stats none.
I am thinking about constr.bonus for it and units it can train.

P.Arm raised. Should I raise damage in melee like stone fortress has, considering the wall is surrounded in thorns?

Uhm there is only one attack for unit, it can't have 2/3/10/9001 attacks with different numbers as basic attack. Only one.

I was actually thinking of enemy attacks the fort they take the thorns damage for melee while the elves sentry's dish out the other attacks if this is possible.

Maybe if we add something like counter-attack.

It is possible actually but in other way – using basic attack as melee counter, removing range and adding ability attack.

But normally for counter attack (in any sort) current engine uses attack number and type unit has and there is only one attack type and number.

So in simplified terms, no on separate melee damage. Ok I guess that little trick can wait till something like that gets implemented. You know it is funny though how some of the games bugs produce useful ideas.

I think it looks a bit too awesome but at the same time too small if compare with human castle or great tree.

Increase size of insides.
