Imperial healer
Cost 4 turns
Hp - 20
Attack - 3
Armor - 2/2
Speed - 3
Sight - 6
Spell range - 4
Spell resist 100% (as most of imperials have)
Heal rate - 15-20

Pretty much a elite healer but is an imperial

Needs double strike, disenchant, and exorcism. I'd suggest a shield on the image and some decent pierce armor, to give a healer that isn't vulnerable to being shot.

@DoomsdayDragonfire already on it, and @makazuwr32 already mentioned spells this unit should have
( I guess I miss bringing them here from discord )

I don't agree with exorcism. Also this could be sort of battle healer (cleric) since imperials focus on hp and attack rather than spells to kill someone. Give it trample instead.

For spells:
Healing
Exorcism (debatable)
Trample/strengthen
Disenchant

My cleric is better at stats.and skills.
And if get accepted won't need this variant since will have 2 special magic skills

And I don't associate a healer with imperials - they should be fighters.

Better leave the Imperial line and make a stronger healer as upgrade?

This one is more frontline caster
Your one is for back a bit.

Still don't like it to be imperial, no much sense.
A better "regular" healer tipe is better.

And mine have good attack, area Heal and passive weapon skill.

They both can co-exist.

Maybe raise stats a bit like it's attack and we could give him a weapon and such I'll think of something if you can't.

Imperial healer with similar stats to Dwarven cleric?

Hmm, increase attack to 10 + Bonus to undead, he'll have a mace.

Give him 3/3 armour

Make him have:
Strengthen
Double strike
Heal
Disenchant

And then he should be set.

no higher Attak - it's not a fighter!
For that there are clerics!!!
Armor 2/1is fine
Spell res 60%
Immune to convert.
(For image no full armor!)

B. Could make simple a healer upgrade
/group upgrade cos current one is weak.
(involving some other regular church units - eg with templar.

Of course not this stats
Just an alternative to add. Improvnt to healer.

Still thinking is similar to clerics.

This is an Imperial healer. The cleric is just an aoe healer while this one is like a healer, imperial mix. It's frontline and can hold its own in combat. Aoe healing shouldn't heal as much as singular healing. This unit would be fine with:
Cost4
Hp:20
Atk:10
S.rng:4
Sight:6
Spd:3
Heal rate:20
Arm:3
P.arm:3
Res:100%
Abilities:
Heal
Heal bonus aura:Passive:rng:3, bonus:+5 to allies heal rate. Tank head found this in the programming and I thought it would be a nice addition to the imperial healer.
Streangthen
Double strike
Disenchant

100% or 50% bonus to Undead and demons

We can get rid of one of the spells but the heal bonus aura sounded like an interesting addition.

This makes it a useful healer and support and gives the Imperials another unit to add to their ranks.

@Tankhead what did you imagine this guy to look like?
Imperial suit with mace and shield, plus somewhat of a robe?

20 heal rate is too much.
No need for caster to have such high attack rate and bonuses.
Too high armor.
DEFINATELY NO FOR "HEAL PLUS AURA".

Ok, I made a imperial healer. This is what I imagined.
Btw, how about replacing one spell with convert or something? If no, then oh well, btw the stats I shown were more based on imperial stats, abilities were questionable and heal rate was a toss up between 15 and 20.

Bonus was going to be questionable anyway but blunt weapons were supposed to be good vs, undead (Skeletons, zombies) but attack 10 set it apart from other support casters. I guess armour could be 2/3 (because of shield)

This healer needs no bonus to undead
Bad enough a whole sub race can counter undead

Re: Imperial Healer

Well, Templars can but I believe they are supposed to have blunt weapons.
Fine, how about just 10 attack, no bonus? I'd hate to get rid of that mace, and replace it with a staff.
Then it would start to look weird with staff and shield.

Sure, but I trust maka judgement
He's looking over on quite a bit of topics
( Rebalancing )
Mostly on subs and few other things

"To do list for @Makazuwr32 on sunday:
Warfell
Knighthood
Frostfire
Dwarven techs
Goblinoids
Gaia
Moon"

And Maybe more to come

Ya, I know, I marked some of those as pending in the ready list. I'm going to be lowering some of the goblinoids stats a bit though since I over estimated some units stats in game, plus some things might need more explaining.

Still not a healer imho.
A bit change on armor stile. Try remove helmet.

Also I don't think needs shield

Re: Imperial Healer

Posted: Sat Oct 27, 2018 4:14 pm
by Savra
Maybe might try a different style helmet...
Shield and such stays because he has 2/2 armour so he needs some defence, same with armour. As for weapon he might get an attack increase (it would probably be put at 8 likely).

Remove helmet and shield, change weapon to staff.
Remove that cape.

2/2 armor can be gained from just armor.

I guess it's not that big of a change.

Despite what I named it, it was in reference to the fact that he is a front line healer with armour so he can withstand some attacks, this does not mean he has a high attack. Btw, should we replace one spell with Convert? Setting him apart as a stronger healer?
Like maybe:
Exorcism
Disenchant
Double strike
Heal
Convert

I'll have you know that was better then some of my other ideas which would have raised its cost to much.
(Purge, Purify, Judgement to name a few.)
Trample made no sense since most Imperial have aoe attack anyway.
