To make them more different looking from the US infantries.

Looks nice. I like the MG in particular.

Here is an image. It is by no means complete. The legs of the lowest soldier in particular need work.
I know it doesn't fit the style of the current infantry units, but if this gets confirmed, then I will change all infantry units to fit the style of this one.

Suggestions?

The guns are wonky, and the helmets are wrong. Although, that is one damn beautiful redesign.

Looks beautiful, but will it take too much time to change all? Also will it fit with the current tanks and vehicles.

I will redesign the image. It shouldn't take me too long to redesign the other images, since I can use this one as template.
Maybe 2 or 3 days, at most.
And if I'm being honest, I think most tanks and vehicles in the game are much more detailed than the current infantry units, so I think these ones may actually fit in better.

Ok then. Also make each infantry types having different pose between each nation. You can make 1 or 2 infantry wearing something a bit different than the others like my new mg 42

Looks like star wars helmet. Maybe just copy the helmet that my new design is using.

Apologies for the time it took, I hope to get more done soon. Concerning the helmet, I've modified Puss's design so it doesn't stick so far from the head.

I need to change the posture with this one.
Stratego said they look as if they are retreating. I don't see it much, by I can figure out something to do to make t am look more aggressive.

The helmet is more fitting for Soviet I think.

I have not forgotten this. However, I have been delayed something terrible by the Mortar Unit image redesign. I couldn't figure it out, and my Will to finish basically broke after a while and repeated external distractions. However, now I think I can finally finish this. You'd think after a while, I'd have a lot done, but unfortunately that isn't so. But I pray it won't be that way for long.

Here is all I have done, modified the 2 existing images. I promise, this time, more will come soon.

Here are all basic infantries in the game. All except Germany are first drafts, and as such need more work. Mainly, I was trying to just get the colors and the helmets right.

U.S.- First Draft
Germany- Finalized (for the most part)
Russia- First Draft
Great Britain- First Draft
Japan- First Draft
Italy- First Draft (Italy'll be in eventually, so I thought why not?)
Feel free to add suggestions, I'll work on these some more soon.

I was playing with the appearance of the infantry just the other day. Then I found this topic. I was looking for some way to make the team colors show more but not over do it. I also made some changes on some helmets. Japan and USSR were good as they were, but Germany, Britain and the USA needed a little help.
This is the most I could do without making them larger. The markings on the helmet and sleeve is how a lot of armed forces identify what unit they belong, so it doesn't look weird. I did not mess with the Italian units but I do own a Italian helmet that I could use for a model. The German helmet looks a little small but my first attempt looked more like a WW1.
Anyway I thought I would share my ideas on this because the team colors on infantry are hard to see without zooming in.

Why are they so blurry? And the backgrounds are wierd? Tho more team colour might be good idea.

i see here many versions of units, is there a final suggestion which images to change?

I took the images from a screenshot and I did not spend much time on them at all. Just played with the helmets and spotted some pink .

Oh, from screenshot... That explains low quality.
You can download the .apk file and total commander, then long click the .apk file opened in that app and choose open as .zip and you can find all in game images (and files) there.

With all of time spent on infantry redesign, it's become pretty apparent to me that I will not be finished any time soon. Perhaps we should do what Mick is suggesting, and simply enhance the current images. Easier to do, better for time and likely with better results. I can think of more than a few infantry images that need enhancing.

@DreJaDe here are many images, are they worth to be skins?
also is there any unit that is not yet in game?

Agreed these are from AoWW's infancy the spriteworks have evolved sporadically from this
