Meh, looks nice. Besides technically myrmidons were well equipped for battle. Here they could be a special forces that constantly train both on and off the battlefield.

Most nerfed veteran...

Suggestion...

Increase stats to:

Hp: 24
Attack: 10

Add small leadership bonus (Fantasy spec-ops)

Special Forces are harder to come by, and should be more efficient from the get-go.

Right now, has lowest attack and hp combo with nothing to compensate.

Sounds not so bad actually.
But i think he needs a bit higher attack. Maybe 9.

Too low for start, Zurgo has Attack of 11.

Myrmadon is not light infantry.

It is fine. Humans have lower than orcs base damage.
Also he must be affectable by blacksmith upgrades.

Light infantry of humans are pikemen and their upgrades.

Veteran units aren't. Their ability compensates.

Melee damage should not be as low as elf. So either 9 or 10, but NOT 8.

That is why i suggested attack 9 for him.

Also normal swordmen of humans are not light infantry either.

Apologies, I thought you suggested something lower than 8.

But what about hp? It is lower than even Elf Vigilant.

The zurgo helm smasher has attack 10. I can increase it to 9 but I modeled it after his the zurgo is to average orcs. He has 2 less attack then basic orcs. Now for uniqueness we could add something like a javelin ability with range 3, damage 6, does not affect vetraning bonus but still is quit useful.

As for health zurgo has 22.

Elf vigilant has 24 up but no melee armour.

IDK Savra, Myrmadon traditionally has javalin. But, with this unit, it just doesn't fit.

Maybe something else?

Throwing knife, bola, strengthen, shield break, what?

Aura 1 strengthen?

Judging how the Myrmadon is armored and fights with a sword.

I say one of the following:

Leadership Aura: like Orc Chief, he does look like an officer...
Knife throw: highly lethal surprise, ignores armor (knives tend to slide through the chinks if you know what I mean)
Heal: 10 hp, self only
Strengthen: good on defense
Stunning Strike: renders an opponent unable to move or act for 3 turns (like curse but deals 10 damage and only in Melee range)
A build rate of 10: could work as hard as standard workers... "A man who bleeds in the trenches with his men"

These are my suggestions, if anyone else has ideas, post.

What do you think, Savra?

I don't think he needs anything from this.

Maybe might go with leadership aura rng 3. But we'll see what others think first.

Right now, with different veteraning, this unit may become a thing.
But will require 3 tiers.
