The size of Yeti is different in different universes. I would like to notice the human sized one is more realistic from the biological point of view (he would need less energy). But that's fantasy so we've got magic and hey! Majority of the creatures here would die irl.

Not necessarily, it depends on how they eat and what's around/ available to eat.

For example, giants and dragons both feed off mainly elephants and mammoths or hunt near the waters meaning they live mainly in tundras or deserts of by the coast.
